The Parish of St. Augustine  is a welcoming faith community in the heart of Waikiki.  Our parish has been staffed since its beginning in 1854 by the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the order that first brought the Catholic faith to Hawaii in 1827. St. Damien, who was a member of the Sacred Hearts order, and St. Marianne, Sister of the Third Franciscan Order of Syracuse, are our models of faith.

Sunday, June 20, is Father’s Day. Father’s Day spiritual bouquet cards are available in the parish office or the sacristy.

Reservations are required for Sunday liturgy. Walk-ins will be taken on a space-available basis. Everyone must check in for Mass; anyone who does not have a reservation must provide their name and a contact email or phone number. Because of county and state rules on social distancing, there is a limit to the number of people who can be in the church at one time.

Sunday liturgy is live-streamed at the 5 p.m. Saturday Mass at and will be uploaded to YouTube at 8 a.m. Sunday.

Daily mass is at 7 a.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and there is a communion prayer service at 7 a.m. Mondays.            Unchanged: Daily mass is at 7 a.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and there is a communion prayer service at 7 a.m. Mondays.

    Reconciliation is from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Wednesdays and 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturdays.
