Aloha and welcome to St. Augustine by-the-sea Catholic Church. In August this year we will celebrate 168 years as a parish in the heart of Waikiki, where we strive to be a visible witness to God’s love for all. To all of our visitors today: aloha kakou and e komo mai as we worship together.
Since its beginning in 1854, our parish has been staffed by religious of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the order that brought the Catholic faith to these islands in 1827. St. Damien of Moloka’i and St. Marianne are our models as we journey together in faith.
