KOC Kamiano Council installs new officers

Knights of Columbus Kamiano Council 11743 in Waikiki, HI announced its new officers for 2019-2020 starting July 1, 2019.

The officers were installed by the Worthy Hawai’i State Deputy, Michael Madix on June 23, 2019 at St. Augustine Church by the Sea. Chaplain Father Lane Akiona, Grand Knight Bob Allen; Deputy Grand Knight Chuck Johnson; Financial Secretary Matthew Bucher, PGK; Treasurer Gordon Fukumoto; Recorder Michael Goya.

Other officers named are: Chancellor Neil Nitta, PGK; Lecturer Deacon Keith Cabiles; Advocate Tom Barrington; Warden Justin Quijano; Guards Pratt Kinimaka and Tau Sevelo. Trustees include: Dr. Doc Hall, PGK; Tom Brehm and John Puu, PGK.

Grand Knight Bob Allen has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for 19 years, serving in the positions of Past Faithful Navigator, Former District Deputy, Past Grand Knight, Financial Secretary, Trustee and Membership Director. A resident of Kaimuki for 36 years, Grand Knight Bob Allen resides with his wife, Loretta. He has three children, Jason Allen, Megan Allen, Melissa Goddard and husband Michael and two grandchildren, Elena and Lucas.

With more than 1.9 million members, the Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic lay organization.

It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, the community, families, and young people. The Knights of Columbus at all levels of the organization have raised and distributed millions to charity and rendered millions hours of volunteer service.
