Infant Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. The Sacrament of Baptism welcomes a newborn into the Catholic Church.

Parents who are registered, active members of the parish should call the parish office at 923-7024 to make arrangements.

The Church requires that godparents are at least 16 years old and practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church. A godparent must have received the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. A godparent must also be living an exemplary life consistent with faith and morals as taught by the Roman Catholic Church.

Adult Baptism

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) begins each September. It is for adults who have never been baptized, were baptized in another Christian religion and now wish to explore becoming Catholic, and for those who were baptized Catholic but never made their First Communion and Confirmation. Adults are received into the Church at Easter Vigil.  Anyone who is interested should call the parish office at 923-7024.
